This story, told by Ladi Apagu to Chika Oduah from St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Yola, has been edited for length. It is the second in a two-part series on women who escaped Boko Haram captivity. In the first part, three women, including Apugu, describe their imprisonment at and escapes from a house in Gulak.
